Thanks for the response. I spent all of yesterday afternoon dealing with issues due to the upgrade, which included several reboots and looking at logs. There are only a few users on this server and I am the only one with Android. Here is where I was at:
Server was at 8.5.3 UP2
Android Device (Nexus 7) was at 8.5.3 UP1 with the 4.2.1 fix for dimmed send button.
I kept getting the notice to upgrade the device to the latest app version, but whenever I tried to install, it would not (see this post --> )
I wanted to uninstall from the device, but I could not. I deactiviated in security and cleared the cache, but still could not uninstall.
Tried running the app again and was prompted that the current version was not correct for the server and I needed to upgrade. Upgrade always failed. If I tried to dismiss the message, the app closed.
I wanted to set the default app version for Android on the server back to UP1 which used to work, but could not because the Admin interface was not working.
In summary, the Android on the app wouldn't work because the UP2 app wouldn't install and the existing install would not open until I upgraded.
The only thing I could do at that point was to revert back to UP1, which luckily for me worked without issue. I was then able to set the default Android app version back to UP1 and my the Traveler app once again starting working on my device.
I did open a PMR, but as we are business partners and this is a test server, it take a little longer to get a reply.
Thanks
Steve
